Step 1- Getting To Know You
We will initially establish some basics about your business by assessing your product or service, your target market, your budget and whether you have an existing site or need a new one. Based on this preliminary evaluation, we will build an initial "map" of what key areas the site should have. BGIS will suggest features to add value to your site or even recommend against something that, based on our experience, may not work. The information gathered in this phase will allow us to gain a better understanding of how we can provide for your individual needs.
Step 2- Making A Plan
We will produce a detailed plan for the site in draft form. This plan will outline menus to be included, the navigation structure and detailed information for each page. Any unanswered questions arising in the development process are asked and/or resolved. At this point, we will have defined your specific needs and developed a step-by-step course of action.
Step 3- Outline The Costs
We will present a final proposal which will include details of the site, development costs broken down by section and the estimated completion schedule for the project. The price information generally includes: development costs, domain registration, hosting fees and any optional software licenses. We will review and finalize the contract.
Step 4- Make It Happen
We require a deposit of 50% before we begin the project. At this time, we will collect all relevant information and graphics and provide the client with a list of needed items in order for us to build your website. The domain name (www.yourbusiness.com) will be reserved. As sections of the site are completed, you will be provided an internet link so you can view each page and provide feedback on the design or navigation. Modifications are made as needed and the client again reviews the page for final approval. After the client is satisfied, the pages are uploaded to our server and the site goes "Live"!
